Immigration

When working with a government agency in the U.S. to determine your citizen status, or the status of a loved one, it is in your best interest to have an attorney present who is an expert in immigration law. Alien status, rights, residence, duties, citizenship – there are many complex matters to discuss and negotiate, and real consequences to those conversations take place.

Our law firm can ensure you have the means to stay in the home you have built within the United States, or to help you gain residence and U.S. citizenship in legal and law-abiding way. We can help you navigate the checks and safeguards that accompany American border security and immigration process and do things the right way. The Visa Process

There are two types of immigration visas:

  • Immigrant Visas

  • Non-immigrant Visas

The federal government of the United States controls the visa process in efforts to achieve their immigration goals and policies. Visas come in many forms – tourist visas, temporary visas, student visas – and each one has its own unique attributes and requirements.

Joseph J. Voccola & Associates knows what these requirements and provisos are, intimately, and will provide bilingual legal guidance (se habla Español) on the best course of action to help you achieve your goals. We’ll stand as your advocate in all types of immigration talks and negotiations, and get you what you are entitled to under the law.
