Joseph J. Voccola, Esquire
Joseph graduated from Boston University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law in 1989. His primary practice area is criminal law. Mr. Voccola has been selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Attorneys and has been consistently ranked among the top 10 in his field by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys, and the American Jurist Institute. He has received prestigious awards from the American Registry, Lawyers of Distinction (for Personal Injury), and the American Institute of Criminal Defense Attorneys (for client satisfaction). In 2020, Mr. Voccola was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Top 100 Lawyers organization, recognizing his exemplary accomplishments and contributions to the field of law. In 2022, he was further distinguished as one of the top 1% of attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
Thomas F. Connors, Esquire
Thomas served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969 in the 82nd Airborne Division and the U.S. 173rd Airborne Brigade, including deployment to Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1974, where he was actively involved on campus and received numerous honors, including induction into Kappa Phi, the honorary biological sciences society Phi Sigma, and Alpha Zeta National Honorary Fraternity. He was also recognized as an Outstanding Senior Student and received a graduate fellowship from the Northeast Branch of the American Society of Agronomy (Plant & Soil Science). Thomas went on to earn his J.D. from Suffolk Law School in 1978. His practice areas included criminal law (state and federal) and extensive trial work. He was a member of the Rhode Island Bar, Federal Bar, First Circuit Court of Appeals, National Rifle Association, and the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In 1991, he was named Citizen of the Year by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Thomas passed away on April 12, 2016.
David P. Morra, Jr., Esquire
David graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law - Dartmouth in 2013. As an associate at Joseph J. Voccola & Associates, David specializes in criminal law, practicing in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal courts. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association. A zealous trial attorney, David has achieved outstanding results for his clients, earning respect from both clients and peers. A lifelong Rhode Island resident, David lives with his family in the community he calls home.
Domenic J. Carcieri, Esquire
Domenic earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Boston University in 1988. He specializes in Workers' Compensation cases, including work-related injuries, and Personal Injury law encompassing automobile accidents, slip and fall incidents, motorcycle accidents, and pedestrian injuries. Domenic is admitted to practice before the Rhode Island Bar, United States District Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
